Properties Development

 

Currently, the Group is engaged in a property development projects in Maoming, Guangdong Province.

 

Maoming Property Development Project:

Nature of the development site: Residential and Commercial complex with car parking spaces

 

Scheduled completion date: Year 2016 and 2017

Phase 1A: Eight Buildings with 28 to 32 floors and two buildings with 9 floors. Residential units of a total gross floor area of approximately 110,000 square meters, serviced apartments of approximately 19,000 square meters and commercial properties of a total gross floor area of approximately 9,000 square meters.

 

Pre-sales has commenced in late 2014

Phase 1B: Two buildings with 32 floors and will provide residential units of a total gross floor area of approximately 32,000 square meters and commercial properties of gross floor area of approximately 4,000 square meters.

Phase 2: Nine buildings of 32 floors and will provide residential units of a total gross floor area of approximately 120,000 square meters and commercial properties of a total gross floor area of 7,000 square meters. The development of Phase 3 is scheduled to commence in mid-2015 and its pre-sale is scheduled in 2016

 

Outlook of Maoming City:

The total population in Maoming is approximately seven million with approximately one million resides in the urban area of Maoming City. The completion of Western Guangdong Express Rail Link* (廣東西部沿海高速鐵路) in the near future will directly connect Maoming with Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhanjiang. Furthermore, in accordance with the Twelfth Five Year Plan of the Development of the Integrated Transportation System in Guangdong Province* (廣東省綜合運輸體系發展「十二五」規劃) published by the PRC government, the construction of Western Guangdong Province Airport* (粵西國際機場) will be commenced in the coming years.

In the past, the Group has also invested in several properties development projects in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.
