China Uptown works with its strategic partners to supply natural resources including commodities to the industrial corporations in China. Principal natural resources materials sourced include iron ore and coal, which are the principal materials for iron manufacturing. With the expansion of China's iron and steel industry, China Uptown has developed a good relationship with a network of local corporations in the iron and steel manufacturing. Coking coal is used to produce coke to feed blast furnaces in the production of steel while steam coal is primarily used for power generation. Also China Uptown is active in the supply of basic electronic component materials and products, and serves as the bridge for the proactive Chinese manufacturers, which seek to expand their export to overseas markets.
